Main Symptoms of Dry Eye:
Patients typically feel eye fatigue, foreign body sensation, and dryness. Some may also experience burning, swelling, redness, eye pain, and light sensitivity. In the early stages, dry eye only mildly affects vision. If the disease progresses, it can lead to corneal damage, causing significant eye pain. In advanced stages, corneal ulcers, perforation, secondary infections, and scarring can occur, severely impacting vision.
