Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) - Blocking Drugs
Although there is currently no cure for HIV/AIDS, there is indeed one last chance for regret after engaging in high-risk behavior—PEP! (Post-Exposure Prophylaxis for HIV exposure)
It's not as simple as taking a pill. PEP treatment involves the use of three antiviral drugs in combination. The common PEP regimen used in China includes: (TDF or TAF, choose one) + (FTC or 3TC, choose one) + (DTG or RAL, choose one). Tenofovir and emtricitabine (or lamivudine) can also be used, and emtricitabine/tenofovir disoproxil fumarate or lamivudine/tenofovir disoproxil fumarate can be used as a combined tablet.
