The Severance Hospital and Gangnam Severance Hospital affiliated with Yonsei University have halved their surgical schedules. Seoul Saint Mary's Hospital and Seoul Ewha Hospital have also reduced their surgical schedules by about 30%. It is expected that these hospitals will further expand the scale of canceled surgeries.
As of 6:00 PM on February 21st, the Medical Strike Victim Reporting Center had received a total of 149 reports. Complaints mainly include unilateral cancellation of treatments by hospitals, postponed surgeries, and hospitalization arrangements. On the first day, the center received 103 inquiries from patients or their families, of which 34 resulted in actual damage reports.
