An old saying goes, "Health can be seen from one's appearance." It means that one's overall health can be roughly assessed from their facial features. While this statement may sound mystical and unreal, it does carry some truth.
In traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), there is a diagnostic method called "Observing, Listening, Asking, and Touching," which believes that the five senses correspond to the five internal organs. Specifically, the nose corresponds to the lungs, the eyes to the liver, the lips to the spleen, the tongue to the heart, and the ears to the kidneys. Therefore, if there are abnormalities in the color or condition of facial features, it may be a sign that the body is experiencing issues.
