4. Purple Lips: Qi Stagnation and Blood Stasis
Associated Symptoms: Restlessness, unexplained body pain, and insomnia. In traditional Chinese medicine, there is a saying: "Purple indicates cold pain and blood stasis." This means that purple coloration is associated with cold, pain, and blood stasis. It may result from stagnation of Qi, leading to blood stasis. People with a history of liver disease, frequent alcohol consumption, smoking, and staying up late are more prone to this condition.
Solution: Promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis through moxibustion at the Shénquè acupoint and massage at the Zhènghuǒ Guānyuán acupoint.
