Several farts are a normal physiological phenomenon, but if the number of farts increases, it may be related to the following reasons:
1. Non-Disease Factors
Farting is closely related to dietary habits. For example, eating foods that produce gas, eating too quickly, and frequently gulping down food can lead to a large amount of gas entering the gastrointestinal tract through the mouth, affecting digestion and absorption, and resulting in increased flatulence.
Additionally, prolonged sedentary behavior can also affect gastrointestinal function. When a large amount of food residue accumulates in the intestines for an extended period, it can produce rotten gas, also increasing the number of farts.
