a. Gastrointestinal Dysfunction
The frequency of farting is also a reflection of gastrointestinal function. When a large amount of food residue enters the gastrointestinal tract and cannot be digested and absorbed, the body will produce a large amount of unpleasant gas, not only causing an increase in farting but also resulting in abnormally foul-smelling gas.
