Causes of Dry, Sore, and Swollen Eyes

Protecting Your Eyes in Daily Life:

01. Avoid directing airflow from hairdryers or air conditioners directly toward the eyes.

02. Use a humidifier in dry environments to increase air humidity.

03. For dry eye sufferers, consider wearing silicone eye masks, moisture chamber glasses, or diving masks to reduce tear evaporation. When outdoors, wear protective glasses to prevent eye exposure to intense light.

04. Maintain an optimal distance (40-70 cm) between the computer screen and eyes, with a slightly downward gaze at a specific angle. Take a 10-15 minute break after 1-2 hours of computer use, look into the distance to rest the eyes and alleviate fatigue.

05. Quit smoking and avoid environments with smoke and pollution.
