6. Certain Vegetables
Some vegetables are also "purine-rich." For example, every 100 grams of seaweed contains 274 milligrams of purines, fresh mushrooms 214 milligrams, dried mushrooms 405 milligrams, soybean sprouts
500 milligrams, and asparagus 500 milligrams. Some vegetables have purine contents exceeding that of meat, so caution is advised.
